Salary – Scale 25 - £29,577 Pro-rata
3 and a half hours per week
(1 hour for planning and 2 and a half hours with the girls group)
To plan, manage and run activities for girls to meet their needs by working in partnership with the local Community, Statutory, Voluntary and Community organisations. The worker should hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Youth Work or equivalent. We are seeking an experienced Youth Worker with at least two years experience of working with young people in paid or unpaid capacity.
The Millan Centre is a community centre set up to empower local women, girls and children to communicate their needs and build capacity by facilitating educational and social activities. To take the Girls work
forward we are seeking a suitably qualified female youth worker.
